circa 1866, with 7 1/2in. octagonal barrel (currently loose in frame), dove-tailed blade fore-sight, the grooved top-strap with refreshed signature 'ROGERS & SPENCER, UTICA, N. Y.', plain unfluted cylinder, plain frame, smooth walnut flared grip-plates, iron trigger-guard and hinged under-barrel loading lever, the whole stained with traces of possible original blued finish in sheltered areas
